About the event
Participants begin by learning how to piece their own scraps using the three methods for
improv piecing outlined in Kelly’s book, Scrappy Improv Quilting. These methods allow
the use of plenty of larger pieces (even though all of the pieces in the finished quilt appear
tiny!). Then, participants incorporate those happy, scrappy blocks into a fun quilt pattern
from the book. By using their own treasured scraps, they'll create a mini quilt uniquely
theirs, and they are sure to love it! This fun method is versatile, and with step-by-step
