Spring Retreat 2026 — A Weekend to Remember!

CQC's Spring Retreat 2026 was a huge success! Twenty-four quilters gathered for a weekend packed with creativity, community, and some wonderful surprises. Retreaters arrived to gift bags filled with goodies from the generous Alison Dale of Moda Fabrics, and Laura from Highlands Ranch High Country Quilts stopped by to share exciting news about her new store.

Saturday brought a visit from Pat Smith and Karen Truesdell, a little local quilt shop hopping, and a fun fabric exchange game. Sunday's Show & Tell was inspiring — and Project Warm Hearts celebrated an amazing 50 completed blocks!

Fall Retreat 2026
October 9th-11th

This fall, escape for a creative weekend unlike any other! CQC's Fall Retreat returns to the Holiday Inn & Suites Denver Tech Center, 6638 South Nome St, Centennial, CO, where up to 26 quilters will gather for a weekend of creativity, connection, and inspiration.

This year's featured artist, Rita Lynne, will guide retreaters in creating a stunning 3D Art Vessel — a one-of-a-kind project that pushes quilting beyond the traditional and into the world of art and personal expression. The Art Vessel pattern and embellishment kit are included in the Saturday workshop fee of $25.

Friday evening, Rita will treat all attendees to a trunk show and lecture on her quilting journey — open to everyone, even those not enrolled in the Saturday workshop.
