Mod Log Cabin

Log cabin-style quilts are some of my favorites to make and to look at; the variations on such a simple and

humble block are endless. The breadth of variation you can achieve with the Log Cabin is endless: change

the width of the strips, create in the round, use random colors, decrease the size of the strips, etc. In this block, we will focus on working with long narrow strips and squaring up after each round of sewing to achieve a perfectly square block without much fussing while sewing. Block measures 20”.
